I'm all for wearing masks when inside public places OR when outside when close to lots of people.

I don't think families should travel from all the country to gather for a holiday weekend.
Airplane travel leading to hours of close knit gathering seems risky to me.
People may not like it, but doing this will increase the spread Covid, all over the country
BUT, here's where I say WTF:

1. The state of Cal and most of the country has high school , college and pro football games now.
    Even with fan restrictions , how the fuk can playing tackle football , be less risky then eating dinner together or flying ?

2. During the past 6 mos we've seen plenty of crowded protests with little warnings of covid risks .
    If you said it's risky , you'd be shouted down and insulted. WTF?

3. We've seen the President hold crowded political rallies , with few masks worn and nobody stops it. WTF?

Covid is a real disease pandemic and many people die or get seriously ill from it.
Even the President was hospitalized after catching it and he's the most tested and protected human on planet earth.

In my OPINION, until we can distribute a safe, effective vaccine, we all need to do the same basic safety measures.

Picking or choosing exemptions for popular events doesn't help with ending the pandemic.
You don't need to shut down, IF everyone wears a mask when needed.
EVERYONE needs to wear masks inside public places and when close to others outside.  No exceptions , no playing favorites.
