I think it's about time that I get properly certified as a personal trainer and a personal nutritionist.  That way I can become a legitimate Matt CSN MFT [Certified Sports Nutritionist & Master Fitness Trainer].

For the time being, I just want to take the courses which will get me the get me the two certifications in the quickest time possible.  I.e., online certification courses that each cost $99 USD [$2 billion CAD] that can be completed online within an hour for each certification [two hours total or thereabouts - basically something that I can start and finish within the span of an afternoon], until I get both certifications from a legitimate and reputable company.  Basically - get certified immediately in the fastest way possible, then immediately start working towards getting certified by the best companies.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know which online training and nutrition certification program company is the fastest, that can certify me immediately [literally same day - after taking an online test]?

Since I want to get certified with the best company after getting my temporary certifications online, does anyone know what the best company is to get certified?  I'm in Canada, so if anyone has specific information about Canadian companies, please let me know.  Ideally, I would rather not travel to Toronto to take a final exam, with the current Covid-19 quarantine regulations that change almost by the day.  It's one thing to take a day trip to Toronto - it's another matter to have to quarantine for 28 days in total bogus of some bogus Covid-19 scaremongering health ordinance in place.  I'm not sure if such ordinances are in place right now for domestic travel, but, as said, Covid-19 rules change almost by the day, so I just want to avoid that if at all possible.

I suspect that most personal trainers on here are based out of the USA, but if anyone has any information regarding the best certification companies in Canada, I would appreciate it.

As for the online certification programs, literally any one will do - the faster, the better.  Just so that I can legitimately be certified with something, before working towards getting certified by the most prestigious and recognized company in Canada.

Any nudge in the right direction from my knowledgeable fellow Getbig bros would be greatly appreciated.

NSCA is the big one. I remember their basic tests and standards being decent, but not hard.

Poliquin's PICP I'd consider a good educational program, and the standards you had to meet after the basic couple of levels were actually pretty hard.

ISSA was easy, and most of the smaller orgs are a cakewalk.

Many have practice tests out there, google them up, and take them :).

Does Harvard have a personal trainer certification program?

If they do I'd go with that.

No-one is going to hire your racist ass for any personal training job.  You have no real job opportunities that accept white supremacist.   Even if you got a job, you would be fired the minute they found out that you were one

The heart thing was congenital, he had a brother, and father that died a good bit earlier than him. I also wouldn't call him a physique guru, but rather a strength and conditioning coach, and to that end he did well for his clients. There are a lot that credit him with helping them extend their career or push them up another rung in already elite levels, in the end that's what counts.

He did go off the deep end a bit, but they all do. There is only so much you can write about really getting bigger, stronger, leaner or faster before it all becomes old.

This was him probably in his mid 40's -

Yep, I had a buddy get certified and I took the test and scored over 90% without even ever opening the book.  If you used to read Muscle & Fitness magazine in the 80's and/or 90's you would ace it.

Agree. The main reason most need to be certified is to work in a gym and/or get covered by some insurance.
Plus, it would be a good idea to be CPR certified

Ever notice that in any other sport, the main "credential" is the coach's ability to get the most of the athletes and win.
I don't think Nick Sabin or Bill Bellicheck ever got "certified" but they sure get a  lot of respect ( and $ )for their coaching record.

I've never used a "professional trainer," BUT , I gotten help to prep for contests by gym owners and other experienced bodybuilders.
In my opinion, a trainers experience and background is 100x more important then some certification.

In my experience, after you start working in a career, nobody cares about where you went to school or the grades you got.
The main concern is can you do the job and what kind of experience do you have doing it.

You know what, Vince?  In 13 years of vocally posting as much data possible to defend White people, posting the FBI and DOJ Black crime statistics and the 110+ years of IQ testing results from psychologists showing that Blacks have average IQ's of 85 all in order to raise awareness that White people are NOT the cause of the problems Black people face, I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT.

It NEVER occurred to me that in our grotesquely anti-White society where a White person isn't even allowed to wear a t-shirt that says "It's ok to be White", while the most vile Black-on-White rape and murder cases are buried by all major media outlets that I might have a hard time getting a job for being LITERALLY THE MOST OUTSPOKEN WHITE MAN IN TERMS OF DEFENDING WHITE PEOPLE AGAINST ALLEGATIONS ACCUSING THEM OF "OPPRESSING" OTHER RACES, AND IN TERMS OF SPEAKING OUT AGAINST MASS NON-WHITE IMMIGRATION INTO THE WEST, AND RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT THE HIGH LEVELS OF BLACK AND HISPANIC VIOLENCE AND HIGH WELFARE CONSUMPTION RATES.

...

I NEVER thought of that, Vince!

No, but seriously - I won't have a problem getting work as a personal trainer considering I'M PART OWNER OF THE FUCKING GYM I'LL BE TRAINING CLIENTS OUT OF.

You only need to suck the dicks of Blacks if you work in the public or corporate sector.  I'm at a point in life where I'm making money off my money.  Blacks, as well as anti-racist Whites, can't do shit to me.  And I IMPLORE any of the later group of White self-hating assholes to DARE say anything negative about me to my face.

I LOVE the fact that these pieces of shit would love to get me fired, but can't do shit to me.

PS - Blacks commit 7-10x as much rape and murder as White people do, and sit on welfare at 7-10x the rates of White people as well, on a year after year basis.  American Blacks also have an average IQ of 85 as stated above, but only because most American Blacks have partial White ancestry.  Take that White genetic admixture out of the picture, and pure sub-Saharan African Blacks would have an average IQ of about 80.  Well - 70, which is the borderline for mental retardation, but with improved nutritional conditions, that IQ average would rise to about 80.  The increase to 85 for American Blacks stems from having partial White DNA, which brings up their average IQ scores slightly.  If you take Mulattoes like Obama, they have an average IQ of 90 - exactly intermediate between White and Black, and exactly what genetic theory would predict.  8)

And Blacks are getting economically colonized by the Chinese right now!  Ba-zing!

And you know what the best part is?  I get to say this stuff out in the open, using my real name, as much and as often as I want, and since I'm economically divorced from mainstream society, no one can do jack shit about it!  In fact, when the Indigenous Liaison group pressured Lakehead University to illegally fire me, all that happened is that I had more free time, and started writing MORE posts about Indigenous people!  Oops!

Honestly - anything that can allow me to print a business card that says Matt CSN MFT is fine for now.  Since I compete a little locally, and won provincials in my weight class in 2017, I don't think most people really give a shit.  As long as a person is in shape, or has decent rates, I think they will do fine.  Right now, this is more about getting me motivated to do something, since I've been mostly sitting on Getbig through the lock-downs over the hyped pandemic.

Do you remember Layne Norton?  He mentioned in a recent Facebook post that he has gotten some criticism lately [fewer clients] because he is not in shape like he used to be.  Meanwhile, the guy has more knowledge than he ever had before, and still has his Ph.D in Nutrtional Sciences...people are fickle.

Rich Piana's ex Amy Waz said gay guys would pay Rich handsomely to be "trained" by him, which sometimes just amounted to hanging out at the gym talking, just so they could be seen with a guy Rich's size.

You must come from a REALLY small province.

I adored Amy Waz’s funbags.

The current Ontario lightweight champion is Dain Wallis, and I believe he is the reigning Canadian lightweight champ as well.  Lightweight in the CAASA strongman league here in Canada started out as a 170-lb class, but moved up to 175-lb in 2017.  Weigh-ins take place on the same day, but they allow us a 3-lb allowance for clothes - and since you can weigh in wearing only your underwear and socks, that makes the weight class basically 178-lb.

Keep in mind that this is a manlet class.  Do you really think a 5'10" / 175-lb manlet is going to be deadlifting over 600-lb?  Literally the very strongest guys at 175 may be deadlifting between 550-lb and 610-lb.  Can you really tell me, regardless of city or state that you live in, that you see manlets deadlifting 7 plates per side?

Also, it's usually the side handle [trap bar] deadlift that shows up in contest most frequently, and my trap bar deadlift is pretty good - again, with respect to my weight class.

PS - that being said, does anyone know where I can get shitty CSN MFT certifications online just by taking a multiple choice exam that I can take, and just send money to upon passing the online exam?  I got the idea when I found out that a friend of mine has a Dave Palumbo nutritionist certification.  Ya rly - Palumbo has his own personalized certification program.  I don't want to get it in order to use it for full-time work or anything - just as a reason to refine my own training knowledge, and as a social experience.  Also, if people ask what I do, and I tell them that I'm a personal trainer, that conversation can easily turn into "Oh hey, can you help me with [insert fitness goals here]?"

I realize that I already know my way around the gym to the point that I could train people right now if I wanted to.  I see nothing wrong with making it official.
