Do like I did. I was born and raised in Asheville but moved to South Carolina because I didn't want to deal with the liberal bullshit.
In North Carolina, I was treated like a porch monkey making 5.00 an hour at Montgomery Ward. Once I moved to Greenville, I was able to get well paying jobs. Cashier in Asheville, Systems Engineer in Greenville.....Truck Unloader in North Carolina, Customer Relations in South Carolina.
Despite being a liberal state, it was a complete joke living there because at the end of the day I got paid like a spook and a lot of black neighborhoods that were around before I left have been bulldozed and gentrified in shitty ass tea shops.....entire black communities turned into yogurt shops, Starbucks, and other crap. In South Carolina, I may occasionally get called a porch monkey but I get paid like a working man.
