Regardless of political affiliation, everyone should be concerned that the potential leader of our country was chosen for gender and race first, qualifications second.

Once they set the criteria (publicly stated), they had a small sample to choose from, and picked one who less than 1% of her own party wanted.

First off, thank you for the sentiment.  The feeling is mutual.  No homo.  The potential leader aka VP nominee Harris has a political record (having held public offices) to run on.  The current President had zero qualifications coming in.  Also, Biden is the nominee.  While I tend to agree he may only complete one term, it's not rational to believe he is going to bail early just to pass the torch to his VP.  This conspiracy along with Pedo Joe stuff is in line with birtherism and pizza gate.  It literally is throwing shit at a wall hoping something sticks.

Not to impersonate Matt but one of the kookiest and spookiest things I read on joebiden.com, which was in the spirit of acknowledging that mere equal opportunity is racist if it produces racially unequal outcomes, was that he wants to preferentially give loans to black owned businesses in order to improve the black communities.

Sounds nice. And it's nice to be nice. But if we're giving out loans based on skin color rather than ability to repay the loan, no bank will do it. Not without a guarantee from the same government pushing them to hand out the loans. So who pays the bill when the loan doesn't get repaid? And how many loans will be taken out once it's common knowledge that the debt will be forgiven and picked up by the government, and declining to give the loan is racist? (Answer: All of them) And how many people will keep paying taxes if they get the impression that the government is basically just taking their money and giving it to poor black people in an unprecedented wealth redistribution scheme?

We might get that revolution and race war yet.

As harman pointed out though, Biden won't be able to get much done because the senate will be under republican control and they have Amy Coney Barrett in already.

Bidens hands are basically tied and none of the crackpot policies will get anywhere. The only real worry is his response, or rather lack of it to China.
