Trump - Is he going to concede or stay in power by force?
« on: November 05, 2020, 11:16:10 AM »
So we can pit this ridiculous shitshow behind us and focus on the important things like the Olympia?

He lost. Time for him to exit gracefully and start bringing the country together. Republicans will have another chance at the presidency in four years. In the meantime they can focus on the ‘22 midterms.

Probably after Biden wins.

He is the projected winner, but it's not official.

Figured a smart fella like yourself knew that.

But you're just trolling. ;D

Fair points (about me being smart and more confirmation that Biden is the winner). However, once Biden is confirmed the winner by the unofficial vote tallies of the states, Trump should concede. These mythical “pathways” to victory that will never materialize, and lawsuits that will never go anywhere are a waste of the nation’s collective energy.

The fact that Trump is soliciting donations to fund these ridiculous lawsuits is pretty shameful. He’s essentially robbing people right now and giving credence to those of his detractors who accused him of being a crook. Some old lady shouldn’t be asked for $50 to pay lawyers to waste the public’s time and money.

The only thing shameful is the cheating done by the democrats.  He should tie this up in the courts for months.  I would not concede and would do everything possible to get the ballots audited not recounted.  Verify the people who voted exist, and live at the address listed.

Let him use his own money then.

And then who reimburses him if hes right? Which of his accusers used thier own money on the impeachment?

Lets do the right thing for the country.

Investigate one state Michigan/Wisconsin/Pennsylvania, hopefully there is ZERO fraud found and then we move forward as a country.

To act like money should be an issue when its never considered in any other matter is ridiculous.

Seriously. Somehow a state with less than 3 million votes cast is taking as long to tally as state with twice the numbers?

Lol you cant make this up.

If he were to somehow miraculously prevail he could recoup the money in 15 minutes with a few phone calls. He doesn’t need to be hitting up the people he claims to care about for $25. That’s not right.

You can either look at the world for how you want it to be or how it really is. Trump is a big boy. He got beat by some “bad hombres.” He should’ve seen this coming and been prepared for it. Maybe he should’ve skipped a rally in FL and spent time making sure his election integrity team was the finest in history. But he didn’t and it’s done.

What could he have done?  He can't do anything about the voting precincts.  He tried to get mail in voting stopped and couldn't.

Inner-city “ministers” were getting tons of cash from the Dems for “get out the vote” efforts. They always do in these places for tough state-wide elections. Where the money came from this time around I don’t know (Bloomberg?). Getting to them is one way he could’ve avoided this. They also didn’t do enough to stop the mail-in voting, particularly in red states. How could this happen in GA? Republicans control everything state-wide. The meek may inherit the earth but they won’t win elections.

LOL

The 2000 election dragged on until mid December. I see this as worse as there are multiple states involved.

It’s going to the courts.

To answer your question: When he is out of legal options. Same goes for Biden.

He only know from lawsuits. Lawsuits against his own family members years ago. Lawsuits and non-disclosures in most of his business dealings. Suing his way back into the presidency, give us a break.

So on one hand he shouldn’t solicit money but on the other he should have been using campaign money to pay off the inner city leaders.....

Whatever you say.

That was then, this is now. IT’S DONE. Everyone who matters wants it over. I also think small-donors to political campaigns are fools and should be protected from themselves.

It’s bad for business to let it drag on. Even Trump himself will start to get pressure from the Mnuchin-types and the Republicans in Congress to end it. There’s a Republican senate so no one is worried about things getting too radical.

You all predicted a Trump win. It didn’t happen. Now move on. Worry about winning the House in ‘22. Who is the next Newt Gingrich?

Yes, but in fairness to Biden he’s a politician and that’s what politicians do. Trump is supposed to be a non-politician and above all this bullshit.

Yes, Gore was a career politician. That’s all he had. I thought Trump was different?

And how did the Gore presidency turn out?
