That's the best case. Jilted camp gripes but rides out 4 years.
Worst case is each side intractably insists on the legitimacy of their position, and further insists they have a patriotic duty to defend it by force. We're not far from that now. They almost have to do that since these claims can't be walked back. Backing down means accepting the theft of the election and unlawful overthrow of the government. Both sides think that. The rhetoric from both camps paints the opposition as traitorous. That sound is 300 million safeties being disengaged.
Plus the usual powderkeg in the streets. I'm amazed we haven't had the OK Corral by now or some nut spray a rally/protest. It's inevitable tho, if we keep going like this, and it could become a fire that's real hard to extinguish.
If I were a malevolent foreign government, I'd be working to push us past the tipping point. Of course they are. This is bad, bad, bad. We need this shit resolved.
