Yes, a ridiculous, embarrassing POS of a movie. It bombed at the box office too. I would mark this film as the start of Arnold's Hollywood decline. They tried to re-capture the success of 'Twin's'. Abysmal failure.
Definitely a big factor but I watched Last Action Hero (which I enjoy) the other day, and I kept thinking how this guy was so in love with how funny he thought he was that he immediately followed up one of the greatest action movies of all time....with a movie mocking and satirizing action movies. Smooth move, Arnold. I mean yeah there was Jurassic Park being released at the time, but still. He didn't even want the action figures to come with guns.
It would have benefited his legacy more had he died in 97 after his heart surgery. Kinda like Bruce Lee dying young. Now he just continues to embarrass himself when he could have been our generations Clint Eastwood. Sad. At least we have Sly and his piece of ass daughters.
