You weren't asking me, but what the heck are you saying? What makes you think there are no illegal immigrants in the mountains? Anyway Howard lives in the hills. On the West Coast, we have mountains. (No offense to Howard because the altitude of where one lives is only relevant in terms of being a mountain as to where you are geographically located).
I wasn't asked either, but to be fair, part of the reason i left Houston was due to all the blacks. That City is going to be the next Detroit.
The illegals don't really bother me, there are tons of them in Houston, but they typically just want to find work and help their families back home. I don't really have too much beef with them, juts wish they came over legally and paid taxes, like my ancestors did in the late 1800's.
Here in New Mexico, there are very few black people, it's amazing how different the crime statistics are here too. I'm only 5 hours from Mexico, there are very few illegals here, which i find a bit odd. However, unless you live in Albuquerque, there isn't much random handy man work. Not many yards to mow because it's the desert. There are plenty of Hispanics working the agricultural field along the river, but the people here have a lot of pride in hiring local citizens, even the Hispanics will not hire illegals, only the white people do.
This state is blue, but most of the areas outside of the big cities are very red. It reminds me of Texas a lot; the country folks love Republicans, God and Guns.
I live in the mountains, I can tell you there are literally ZERO illegals up here. There is no work for them. Everyone who lives up here hires local people to work on small jobs. The illegals are looked down upon pretty bad here, there is very slim chance they can find a job. The local small construction businesses will run the illegals off, it's wild to see people fight to keep their local jobs. With a small population and not a high workload, people will defend their positions here.
