It's similar or identical to the services that also exist in Hungary - you can tattoo some hair or go the expensive route and get it crafted which is around 10K.
Why not just wear a rug?

The fact that Stephen King was using so much cocaine and Xanax while writing Cujo that he actually FORGOT writing it...that boggles my mind.

It makes sense though - the cocaine would have allowed him to write for hours and hours on end [not really any more than drinking one coffee after another...but with more euphoria, for those who like cocaine], and the Xanax would have allowed him to take more cocaine while simultaneously making him forget what he was writing.

King looks frail these days while doing presentations and other things, so being high for literally the 1980's - a full decade - did catch up to him.  He was also hit by a minivan in 1999, and was in severe pain which almost cost him his leg being amputated [IIRC].  But he opted against that and spent months in recovery instead.

That made me wonder...how can a former drug addict go through something that painful and not relapse on drugs?  Because anyone struck by a minivan - at age 52, no less - would almost definitely be given opioid painkillers as part of the recovery process.  Perhaps Stephen King's drugs of choice were cocaine, alcohol, Xanax, on top of smoking cigarettes, and maybe painkillers were never his thing.  If so, that would have allowed him to use the pain meds as needed without relapsing on his 1980's drugs of choice.  Or perhaps, to cope with the pain he did start using cocaine and Xanax again.  If he did...I'd be surprised if he stopped since - and maybe that explains why he looks so frail today.

I'm not judging - I'm just trying to think of what a 52-year-old sustaining serious injuries being struck by a minivan would do to manage the pain, which was no doubt quite extreme.  In fact, King apparently couldn't even sit for long periods of time after the incident:

https://web.archive.org/web/20050307182428/http://www.liljas-library.com/accident.html

^ I like these Ironage websites - some of which have been archived, and others are still out there on the web.  It's like reading the news through a time machine.  :D  Some more articles on King's accident and recovery:

https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=1124785
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_King#Car_accident_and_aftermath

Interesting videos...I had no idea that Stephen King basically spent the 1980's high as a kite.  It makes me wonder - can you get to the world level at ANYTHING without using drugs?  Be it steroids, recreational drugs, or any others?:

Some people do achieve noteworthy success without chemicals. Stephen Kings is a prolific writer. Imagine what he might have accomplished had he been drug free. Maybe not as much quantity or quality or maybe more of both.  As for looking frail, he is 73 years old and likely not a very physical person. No doubt the injuries from the accident haven't helped either, no would the drugs I imagine.

Normally if I was writing about either drug, I would say "coke" and Xanax.  These days, I'd say "coke" and "Xanax".

With COVID-based supply chain problems, Coke [at least here in Northern Ontario] is not even remotely coke.  It saddens me that some of my friends still use it - but luckily things have gotten so bad in Canada, that I can't imagine your normal weekend warrior users still partaking.  As for the daily users...I feel sorry for them.  The people who never stop, no matter how bad things get.  And they have gotten bad:

^ That's pretty bad when Fentanyl is all over Canadian cocaine now.  I'm pretty libertarian when it comes to drugs, but I'm not ok with dealers selling Fentanyl-laced/contaminated cocaine to the users buying it from them.

It's probably a generational thing, but as best I know only one of my friends ever used coke and that was in the 80's. I wouldn't have known except that his wife told us about in on the 4th of July when they were at our house in Sellwood, which was one block from the Willamette river where there is a fireworks display every year on the fouth.

Stupid and a waste of money

It seems to me a person would need enough hair to transplant it without the donor sites looking thin. My hair, for the few short years I had it growing up, was very fine. By the time I was in my early twenties, the only successful hairstyle was to have it buzz cut. I grew out my beard back then and it was extremely thick and full.

I was referring to the pigmentation thing, tattooing “hair” on to the scalp. Don’t understand why jay would do that

Oh, my error.

Well, if I thought it would look good, I'd do it. Not having seen anyone in person who has had their hairline tattooed, I really can't say whether it is worth it or not. I once saw a fellow years ago who had his head tattooed, but there was no attempt to have the tattoos look like hair except they were within the margins of what his hairline may have been. It actually looked good but also pretty weird.

I briefly considered having my eyebrows subtly tattooed to fill them in as they've thinned a lot over the years. Not sure how that could be done since my eyebrows are fairly light colored. I would not want to risk looking like I was wearing makeup or that they were obviously false.

Here's a photo of a fellow with a sense of humor about balding.

I was balding, so I just shaved my head. You can pull it off If you have the face and the head shape for it. I've been mistaken for Vin Diesel, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Wesley Snipes.

Because it's unpractical.
If you get a hair tattoo, given you like it that short, you can shave your head and always have a perfect buzzcut. If you get your hair "grafted" you have your own hair growing again.

Great post.  I agree.  You pose an interesting question about what Stephen King's work would have been like had he not spent the 1980's high as a kite.

But here's something I believe you and your fellow Duke of Dementia-supporting [Democrat] Getbiggers don't get.  First, some definitions:

Parsh = Partial Erection.
Dome = Condom.

I don't wear a mask for this COVID hysteria, as you know, and I have a trespass warrant at one [soon-to-be bankrupt and bought by Amazon] Canadian bookstore as a result.

So you might think - it's Trumptards like me causing the spread of COVID.  Ah yes - I'm spreading a disease I never had.  That makes a whole lot of sense.  ::)

But have you considered that maybe I treat masks the same way I treat domes?  I NEVER wear a dome while having sex, and I've never known a woman to ask, and even the few [as in, maybe like three, total] who did, didn't put up any fight when I said "No condom or no sex.  You pick."

Anyway, I don't wear a dome during sex because I don't much care to wrap my dick in a ziplock bag.  I wouldn't know [since I never wear domes], but my suspicion is that I wouldn't even be able to get a parsh if I was made to wear a dome.

You might say, that's irresponsible, and bad for public health, right?

Wrong.

As I said, my policy is "No condom or no sex."

Often, for me, that just means no sex.  I probably average sex 10 times a year, and that's plenty for me.  I could ramp that up a bit, but I don't want to, and since I'm shagging women without a dome, I wouldn't want to be a risk to public health.

LIKEWISE WITH MASKS:

I may not be wearing masks, but I'm responsible in other ways, and with everything being so hysterical lately, I've been spending most of my time inside anyway.  So you think you're doing more for public health by going out with a flimsy paper mask, exposing yourself to far more people than I am, while I am staying home, seldom going out, but never wearing a mask when I do.

If you were to measure which one of these strategies is more responsible for the spread of money, I would bet any money that your Democrat/leftist way is much worse than my Trumptard way.

And that's ultimately my issue with Democrats: you think you are the arbiter of moral values, when in reality, many of the virtue-signaling things you do are actually WORSE for the world.  Example:

^ See?  Recycling wasn't just useless - it was worse than useless.  Yet you've been doing it all along like a good little Duke of Dementia voter, whereas I've only been recycling aluminum cans, while understanding that the only way to reduce our carbon footprint as human beings is to reduce and reuse.  :)

So who had the worse impact on the environment?  Me, who knew recycling doesn't work, but reduced and reused, or you, who felt that recycling meant you could consume as much as you want, since your net environmental impact would be neutral?

Hmm...?

Rhetorical question - left-wing ideas = left-wing results.  Despite you thinking you were doing the environment a solid, all of your plastic waste was being dumped into rivers and ultimately into the pacific ocean, whereas I made it a point to consume as little as possible.

So you see, Prime - you and I both share the same concerns...ethically, environmentally, economically - in all ways.  It just so happens that I have adopted a moral framework that is both economically and environmentally more efficient than yours.  Yours just sounds nicer "on paper" or "in theory", but in reality, leftist ideas fail time and time again.

Hey - the more you know, right?  :)

I also Will not wear a condom. last time I wore one was about 2008...

Nothing more emasculating than being asked to wear a plastic bag on ones dick while fucking someone, I almost find it offensive.

The fact is condoms don't do anything... They don't stop spread of disease or prevent pregnancy. If your so retarded you can't remember to pull out then you shouldn't be fucking...

Matt,

I can say one thing for sure after knowing you via your internet persona for almost two decades. You will never change. You are absolutely predictable. Nothing you post anymore surprises me. Most people evolve (at least a little bit), over time. It appears that you have not moved one inch.

Although you have been unbelievably annoying a lot the time, I honestly have tried to humor you by reading your repetitiously warped perspectives and preconceived and stereotypical assessments of your fellow man and the ways of the world and taken the time to reply to you. No more.

A new year is almost here. I don't and have never made New Year's resolutions. However, the negativity you espouse is a total downer. Realistically I am nearing the end of my life according to statistics. This next year, I am going to endeavor to eliminate all that is negative around me. I hope you will understand if I no longer allow myself to acknowledge your negative posts. You are a downer.

What kills me is that I think there is a good person under all that hate.

Also primehomo, the condom stats don't apply to your lifestyle... Only the normal heterosexual lifestyle.

Obviously homos are AIDS ridden as I'm sure you are aware...
