Soccer is too boring.  There are too many players on a too long field making scoring very difficult.  The only soccer I ever enjoyed was the indoor soccer league of the 1980's.  They played on an artificial turf field inside and the dimensions were that of a hockey rink with the same amount of players.  Scores were routinely 12-8, 15-14, 8-6, etc, etc.  Fast paced and enjoyable to watch.  Sometimes I watch women's soccer for their asses but not for the sport.

the goal at 5mins 40 beats Maradonnas goal agains England by a mile

The difference is that,  one goal was against a 2rd tier team in the Spanish league , the other one was in the World Cup  against the best players in the Premier League .

It would be  like comparing winning The Olympia and winning Jr Nationals ::)

And you guys have that version of football where they play in their lingerie!

If they had that in the UK that's all I'd ever watch

While my wife was out...

If one of my kids would show me how to use our too f**king complicated TV...  >:(
