The only exhibition fight that was any good was the one in Rocky 4 :)

Mike got some deadly bodyblows in on Roy

Not Prime-Mike caliber but it made Roy exhausted and hurt

Wish they fought for real. Mike would have ended it in one round.

They both looked awful at the weigh in.  Battle of out of shape dad bods.

Pound for pound Jones is light years better.  Jones through 50 fights was untouchable and produced highlight reel knockouts.  He was like a bigger, more dynamic version of Sugar Ray Leonard.  He effectively ended his career stripping off 20 pounds of muscle to fight Antonio Tarver.  He should have stayed at heavy weight after beating Ruiz and fought Holyfield, Tyson and Toney.  He would have easily won all three of those fights and he'd be talked about in the same breath as Ray Robinson.  He was that good.

For someone who hasn't trained in 15 years and closing in on 60, Tyson looked great

mike if he keeps training, and sparring , would take jones in a real fight, tyson could have went more rounds and didnt look tired, i was impressed for a guy who hasnt done anything in 17 years,

some of these retards on here forget jones was fighting regularly until a couple years ago, here is a true story and google it if you dont beleive me

jones was offered 30 million to fight tyson, but jones being the arrogant cock roach he is though he was so good that fight would be there for him down the road, well roy ended up getting his ass

kicked at lhw  and bankrupt.  lick my asshole !

jones was great at one time but his arrogance and shitty money management skills cost him, this idiot though he was a rapper   and a businessman he was shitty at both.

heavyweights like tyson remain dangerous for longer in life.

lighter guys end up useless past a certain age. Jones has only been out of the ring for a year or 2 but tyson would have knocked him out in a round if that was a serious fight.

Basing that on skeletal structure and stronger ligaments?

Yes, and knockout punchers never lose that ability.  Jack Dempsey knocked out some young guy trying to mug him when he was an elderly man.  George Foreman still had knockout power in the ring for his whole career.

He's 54 years old. How is that closing in on 60? You're adding 6 years to his actual age?

55 is basically 60, 60 is practically 70.

So he did good considering he is nearly 80.

Tyson was pulling his shots. Has clear shots to the body but he never committed.  Jones jab was soft.  No punches were thrown with bad intent.  Tyson would have ended it in one round if it was a real fight.
