Let's not be mean. Sometimes some very fine people get snookered into something that's blatantly wrong and stupid.

Lower taxes, energy independence, no wars, increasing peace in the Middle East, pulling our troops out of endless occupations, fast tracked a vaccine with real money and government support that will save our economy and society... Real, tangible, and hugely important accomplishments but sometimes very fine people get snookered by an uncultured and brusque personality. Shallow people who put personality and personal behavior over real action.
