The drones flying around lately are courteous enough to have FAA approved blinking lights.
Some more information of those lights on "drones" / UAPs by Rony Vernet on X:

Analyzing one of the best videos of the New Jersey mysterious drones
At first glance the lights are similar to commercial airplane lights but looking in detail we can see they are clearly different
- The red/green lights on the wings used as a reference to know the craft orientation keeps changing colors what makes no sense
- Red light blinking in the middle of the craft. Totally no sense.
- The tail has three or four lights what also makes no sense
- The area close to the nose on bottom is illuminated and also has two strong lights, again, makes no sense
- Conclusion: this is like a commercial airplane with a Christmas three costume
Four hypothesis:
1) U.S. is testing new exotic drones causing panic in their own population for 2 weeks in a row
2) Private companies cracked how to build exotic drones and are defying the law flying these machines
3) U.S. adversaries are daring to play deterrence games with all mighty drones that cannot be stopped
4) Non human intelligence is exponentially increasing their presence mimicking human vehicles
