After a point, naturally, you find you aren't going to get much stronger or bigger from weight training. It just stops. At that point to maintain muscle and bone health you go into a maintenance mode. It's no different than being a runner who eventually plateaus in speed. You keep running because you find fun in it.

Most guys could lift just once a week to maintain all their gains. If you like the pump, however, you lift multiple times a week for just the rush it gives you. In a way, isn't that enough positive reinforcement to keep doing something that does make you physically fit? If you stop completely you begin atrophying and look like people who have decided to let their bodies go to hell. Aging accelerates then and when you are in your 50's you look like you are ready to die.

If you make weight training a healthy habit and don't worry about "gains" anymore, you will reap the benefits of this lifestyle.

Not everyone trains for strength, but those who do expect to increase their strength through training. It is possible to lose or gain strength from one training session to another for a variety of reasons. A good practice is to develop a routine that fits your goals, assuming they are reasonable, and then follow it consistently until you stop getting satisfactory results.

How strong can you get if you have been training for five to ten years?  If getting stronger is the goal we would all be doing 300lbs curls. Other goals can be increasing muscular endurance for lack of a better definition. What weight are you using for 5 sets of 12. Are you doing your workout in a faster time. If your workout took 90 minutes one week and 85 minutes the next without increasing the weight, sets or reps you increased the intensity.  Intensity isn't the magic bullet for growth. If it was we would all be doing something like four sets of one rep in every exercise after warm up.

No logical reason to waste my life essence on training if I can稚 bet on being stronger

Same goes for you . Since this is now understood we must return to god by the teachings of the Kabbalah

Why would a human with double digit iq waste energy and time on something he has proven time and time again he cannot overcome ? These are moments that could be spent on mastering something that will propel him to the higher spiritual realms and if lucky get to play with the gods treasures

Because you can get weaker by not working out. You're going about it all wrong.

Do you want to be as strong as you were 1 year ago or much weaker?! Because if you stop training you will be weaker. Even the strongest men in the work are weak compared to say an elephant or a bear. It is all relative.

fantasy land fantasy gains are not happening. If gains were a happening you wouldnt have to find tricky ways to test if you are stronger. It would and should be very simple to know if your getting stronger if it were so

just doing basic activity like your daily job and eating as much as you want may in fact grow more muscle comparatively to a man of similar age that trains 5 times a week

Well said. There are endless ways to train. Doing something is preferable to doing nothing. Train regularly and incorporate enough variety to keep your workouts interesting. Pay attention to how you feel. If you're ill or injured, rest and get well before you resume training. But, if you're just not in the mood to train, do it anyway. More times than not, you'll be glad that you did.

Note: It is far easier to give advice then it is to follow it.

work and eating is enough. Weightlifting once a week in order to not go backwards or some sort of random infrequent training

I think this Marty gimmick comet, is trying to go out with a bang.  :D

Probably wasn't real to begin with. Photos and videos on the internet, do not necessarily correlate to the real individual. My guess, it was a gimmick from the beginning.

Sorry, but this seems like you are trying to justify your own lack of enthusiasm for exercise.

Sad fucking day when a shit gimmick from some old Getbig loser, who ran away in tears, can sling shit at a Getbig institution like Wes.

Choke on an aids-ridden cock, phaggot.
