Hmm, something about what you've said here doesn't work very well in reference to what Oldtimer said. Wouldn't saying only take two aspirins because that's all you need to cure a headache. Equate better with saying that he only used steroids when he needed to.
Literally speaking anyone who has used anything is a user no matter how little they used. If I say I use Aleve to cure a headache, I am a user in the literal sense.
You’re exactly right but his response didn’t make any sense anyway and I know what he was trying to get at. Someone made a comment about his usage and I responded. Same as if someone says a calorie is a calorie. That is a true statement in the literal sense.
