 arnold would of still been a movie star with or without joe. That was his goal.  The only thing joe helped him with was hercules in new york film. arnold used joe to get him to america to be the best and then he took it from there.  joe used arnold too. he needed someone who could sell mags supps etc and be a spokseman for bodybuilding. no one else could before and no one else has since arnold.  Now  as far as louie he wouldnt of been anywhere without arnold.  arnold turned down the hulk role and told them to contact louie cuz louie was bigger than arnold.

Arnold was and still is a very ambitious person. If he hadn't been mentored by Weider, he would still very likely have become famous. Success isn't always a result of good luck. Sometimes it is good luck, other times it is a combination of good luck and ambition and sometimes it's just having enormous drive, so much so that you overcome any obstacles put in your path.
