There is not much to be gained from reading this thread. I tried but nothing but back and forth insults. Will it be better when Biden gets in and tries to do one thing or another and then arguing about what he and Congress are doing? Or what about this: There start being lots of bodybuilding contests again (even some that getbiggers compete in) and we can discuss bodybuilding (that will seem very weird). Something is off kilter at present. Trump going into the sunset and having a boring President may help.

Hopefully, in the not too distant future we can put all this shit behind us. Getbig is more polarized then it has ever been. A lot of us have said things we will come to regret because of the political division that has manifested and grown like a cancer ever since Trump came on the scene. To borrow a phrase, there are a lot of good people on both sides. We have differing opinions, which is as it should be. Otherwise, we go forward unchecked, which is as it shouldn't be.

It’s all an elaborate plan by Trump to drain the swamp and restore the confidence of the American people in our government.

Sadly, we need to be real here.

Biden will be the next president of the US, starting on January 20th. End of story. No amount of rumblings, grunting and protesting is going to change that. The Republicans should concentrate on retaking the house and senate back in 2 years, which can happen. The stock market is at its all time high, business is tough because of restrictions by liberal Democrats, and instead of complaining, devise a strategy to get back those in two years.

As for Biden, that is a different story. Because of Covid, he was low key, and his key advisors were smart to keep him away from the public. Very smart move. Hopefully, we will make sense and try to be a more moderate president than his VP and his liberal cronies.
