Who is the real President?

It's no secret that Joe Biden is in mental decline, but I believe we're just about on the precipice of a total failure. Yesterday Biden took questions from reporters. His handlers anticipated the questions that were to come (it was pretty obvious) and they printed out cue cards that Biden was to use to answer the expected questions.

A reporter asked if he meant he was advocating for regime change in Russia

Checks notes: 'If you weren't advocating for regime change, what did you mean? Can you clarify?

'I was expressing the moral outrage I felt towards the actions of this man.

'I was not articulating a change in policy.'

The Daily Mail wrote this:
Biden had also anticipated a question about the reaction from the French president, Emmanuel Macron.

Macron said on Sunday that he would not have used Biden's words, adding that he saw his task as 'achieving first a ceasefire and then the total withdrawal of [Russian] troops by diplomatic means'.

Checks notes: 'If we want to do that, we can't escalate in either words or actions.'
Beg your pardon, but that wasn't Biden who anticipated anything. That was anticipated by whoever the real President is.

Biden was asked: 'Is this now threatening to splinter unity with your NATO allies?'

Checks notes: 'No. NATO has never been more united.' That wasn't the worst of it. This was.

But he faced a barrage of questions from reporters attempting to clarify his position and whether he had blundered.

He was asked whether he had misspoken repeatedly by at one stage sounding as if he was telling U.S. troops they were about to go to Ukraine, as if he was suggesting the U.S. might use chemical weapons, and as if he was calling for regime change.

'None of the three occurred,' he said.

That is delusional. All three DID happen. Biden's handlers frantically walked all those statements back. He apparently does not remember, and someone told him to say otherwise. That's positively frightening.  Biden is unable to perform his duties without prompting or cue cards, and someone is controlling him. He has repeatedly referred to someone else not allowing him to do something.

More Americans are concerned about the availability and affordability of energy now than they have been in a decade, according to a new survey from Gallup.

The poll found that 47 percent of Americans had a great deal of concern over the cost and availability of energy. Meanwhile, 30 percent said they worry a fair amount, 17 percent said only a little and 5 percent said not at all.

Gallup's poll also found more people found the energy situation in the U.S. to be very serious.

Specifically, 44 percent of U.S. adults said the situation was "very serious." Another 46 percent called it "fairly serious" and 10 percent "not at all serious." Last year, 32 percent of respondents described the situation as very serious.

White House exploring ways to lower gas prices
CBS NEWS ^ | 3-30-2022 | IRINA IVANOVA
Posted on 3/30/2022, 11:35:12 AM by deport

As U.S. gasoline prices hover near a 14-year high, the Biden administration is exploring ways to lower fuel costs, from suspending federal gas taxes to further tapping the nation's Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

Among the options the White House is examining for reining in gas prices are reopening the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, suspending the federal gas tax and offering incentives to oil producers to increase output, Stein said.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said she is open to suspending the federal gas tax on fuel. Democrats in the Senate have introduced legislation that would suspend the 18.5-cents-per-gallon tax for the rest of the year, although critics note that doing so would deplete the Highway Trust Fund, which pays for road maintenance. Several states have already eliminated their own state gas taxes.

Hunter Biden was paid millions by Chinese state-linked energy firm, Washington Post report finds
Yahoo News ^ | March 30, 2022 | By Grayson Quay

A Washington Post report published Wednesday shed new light on Hunter Biden's dealings with a Chinese energy firm and confirmed several details found on the hard drive of a laptop he allegedly abandoned in a Delaware repair shop.

According to The Washington Post, CEFC China Energy, which has close ties to the Chinese Communist Party and People's Liberation Army, paid entities controlled by the then-cash-strapped Hunter Biden or his uncle James Biden $4.8 million over the course of 14 months beginning in 2017.

Hunter Biden remains under federal investigation by a grand jury. According to The Washington Post, the investigation seeks to determine whether "he failed to account for income from China-related deals."

What President Biden releasing oil from reserves may mean for gas prices
ooY Finance ^ | Thu, March 31, 2022, 6:35 AM | Brian Sozzi
Posted on 3/31/2022, 10:14:34 AM by Hojczyk

President Biden signing off on an oil release from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to cool elevated prices may have some effect, but not a ton, warns Goldman Sachs.

"Conceptually, such a release would help the oil market rebalancing in 2022, increasing supply by 1 millions barrels per day for six months, for example. This would reduce the amount of necessary price-induced demand destruction, the sole oil rebalancing mechanism currently available in a world devoid of inventory buffers and supply elasticity. This would remain, however, a release of oil inventories, not a persistent source of supply for coming years.

Such a release would therefore not resolve the structural supply deficit, years in the making," said Goldman Sachs energy strategist Damien Courvalin. "On net, such adjustments would lower our 2H22 Brent forecast by $15/bbl to $120/bbl, still above market forwards.

Biden approval rating tumbles to lowest of presidency: poll
Nypost ^ | 03/28/2022 | Mark Moore

President Biden’s job-approval rating has plummeted to the lowest of his White House tenure — and seven in 10 Americans lack confidence in the commander-in-chief’s ability to handle the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a survey released Sunday found.

The number of Americans who approve of Biden’s actions since he took the helm of the country in January 2021 has fallen to 40% – the lowest of his presidency and a dramatic 13 percentage-point drop from April 2021, the NBC News poll shows.
