Thank you epic - you're bang on, as usual.
My bedroom is the messiest, but so empty that it could be clean in 15 minutes - spotless in 60. I spend 90% of my time there, so the rest of my house stays in good shape.
Removing four car-loads of belongings to storage worked wonders. One day it hit me that I NEVER used 90% of what I owned more than once every few years. I'm an ~8-minute drive to my storage area, in case I need anything.
As Prime said...my place looks like someone is just moving in...or out, lol.
It's empty - to prevent it from becoming a pigsty. The correlation between autism and mess is HUGE - a cliche. We are notoriously messy. Borderline hoarders, IMO. That's when I decided to live in a mostly empty home.
I would like to stop being a bum though, as you said. COVID isn't just my excuse - Ontario IS strict AF. Police state, basically. I would LOVE to be back in the gym starting TODAY. I figured...if I'm being FORCED to stay home... I'll enjoy the break. But enough already.
ONE important note: it's just clutter. I don't have stinking food waste, or biological waste. No pets [litter/waste].
epic - I do need sunlight [Vitamin D].
I loved Ontario/Canada...but you're right about it being time to leave. Sad, but true.
Florida seems nice. How about Idaho? I've mostly heard good things. You said Boise was going downhill. How about the other communities?
The one big plus to Thunder Bay is the crazy low cost of living.
Yeah...I need to get to the USA. I HATE people who flee their society, then vote for the same policies! Not me - if I get my American citizenship, I would NEVER disrespect American values. The LAST thing I want is the USA turning into a bigger Canada!
