Those pricks got exactly what they deserved. They were clearly fucking with someone way beyond what was called for.  Plus they saw him walking out with a gun and they continued to run their foul mouths.

take always:
1. Many are crazier for various reasons (Covid, politics, etc)
2. Fights have consequences. Learn to walk away from ones that don’t matter.
3. Make friends with your neighbors sufficiently to know if they are gun owners (if so, manage your disputes accordingly).
