A lot of negative people attribute Markus Ruhl's awesome biceps to synthol. I seriously doubt Ruhl would stoop to such a low when he clearly works hard and wouldn't take shortcuts. The fact that Ruhl has superb bicep development, particularly in his peaks, is due in large part to the genetic shape of his muscle bellies.

Consider Darrem Charles:

Obviously you wouldnt accuse Darrem's biceps of synthol so why Ruhl's? They both just have crazy peaks and a specific genetic shape. Synthol? Hardly . . .

Ruhl is cool... very cool, but he must have at least 3 quarts of synthol in him. I don't mean that in a bad way... I mean it in a good way.

So what do you say about Schwarzenegger? His biceps were just as peaked. Just look at the friggin guy's arms. His biceps attach very very low. That causes them to coil up and peak like crazy when he flexes.

You have to consider the practicalities of this situation.

If Ruhl has used synthol in his bi's, why the hell wouldn't he use it in his weak tri's?

His bis look natural to me. Only the delts look like they might have synthol.

He's right-he'd have filled his tris up if he was using synthol in his bis.

This reasoning doesn't really apply. Ernie Taylor never had weak triceps, but went overboard with synthol anyway.

its well known that the bodybuilders of the 70s thru today loved Escilene...Arnold was one of them...Kevin L also used massive amounts of it....If synthol was around in the 70s, you can bet that Arnold for sure would have used it

they were deformed then. fortunately he heard the critics and stopped it. his biceps are also natural. if you watch made in germany, those things flex and relax perfectly. they look weird in pictures, but in video it's obvious there's nothing.

well that's true. it seems to be a consistent thing with german guys. heiko, ruhl, marko savoleinan, more i can't think of. they inject their shit in the biceps. makes sense, it's a good place. but if it was serious synthol usage he'd do it in the triceps.

thats my verdict, site injections.

I like to give him the benefit of the doubt - he said in Flex he never used, so that's good enough for me. If he did (and I refuse to believe it) at least it looks nothing like Derek Anthony's hack-job pictured above . . .
