It won't influence 1 democrat vote.  They are so full of hate for "Orange Man" they are still consumed with his image even after he's out of office.  They desperately want to get a final "win" against him.  If he is acquitted we will see meltdowns just like when he was elected.

The thing I don't understand about americano politics is the fact that democrats still have not accepted that trump won in 2016.

The Democrats "won" in 2020 and instead of getting on with it they still spend the majority of their time and effort  to besmirtch the Donald. Wtf when donald won he just went on with his agenda he didn't spend his time trying to roast Hillary..

Am I missing something?

I was listening to one of the attorneys today that defended Trump in the last impeachment hearing and he said that it isn’t about Trump not running for president it is that he cannot run for another elected office. So the way it’s understood he can run for president but not another elected office. I hope I got that right

I've seen "conservatives" on Twitter say "Now, people will know what Trump really said about Charlottesville." Republicans in congress couldn't convey that in the 4 years he was in office?

Furthermore, Nikki Haley is a traitor. Most social climbing Republicans have learned nothing in the past 4 years and will go back to being business as usual Neocons.

A poll from a few years ago showed that 67% of Democrats believed that Russia affected the outcome of the 2016 election.  Democrats were wounded by Trump's ascent to office and needed to find something, even fantasy, to account for the election outcome.

I'm not up on what is going on right now, but if they are trying to say that Trump used the word "fight" in a speech and caused unrest after 4 years of BLM dog whistle speeches they just had their asses handed to them.

The senate have the option to vote on if Trump can run for president again (2 thirds majority needed) but they only get to vote on it if Trump is first convicted through this trail. No conviction then there is no vote and he is free to run again.

Any talk about "running for another elected office" from lawyers is just them lawyering.

Some people only watch CNN and other outlets.  A poll showed that 35% of Biden voters hadn't even heard a thing about the Hunter laptop thing.

Even at the debate, Trump did a horrible job explaining it.
