Do I know it..

True story.. I've been seriously considering a permanent move to either Florida, Texas or Arizona (thanks for the rec Chaos).

They're all attractive for various reasons, but Florida does have proximity to water, so it's pulling at my strings.

You should go. Seem like a decent and intelligent chap, get out before the Dems make things even worse where you are.

What are you referring to? Do you think the impeachment should have taken place based on the evidence submitted?

News coverage would tell you who actually won the election.

It's time for media to turn to covering the next 3-1/2 years on Biden's winning policies, right?

But the truth is GOP voters are Trump voters. Neo-cons/Bush killed the party.

Thank you United States Congress for wasting hard earned American tax dollars (garnered during a pandemic no less) in order to try and exact your revenge on President Donald Trump.

Fucking lowlife savages, have nothing better to do than to sit there pontificating and pretending to be useful. This political system of ours needs a desperate revamp.

Not to mention, Biden and the left have been calling for unity. How is this helping unity?

Say he was found guilty. Then what? Isn't being found guilty and being impeached mean that you are kicked out of office?

If he had been found guilty the senate would have had the option to vote on barring him from running for president again.

They won't get that vote now he has been cleared.

Unless the Democrats totally f... up (which is always a possibility but unlikely with an improving economy coming out of all the shut-downs), the Republicans are in for a rough ride. All the internal dissension and rage and primary/ing the “Rhinos”, with a damaged Trump flailing in the wings, will be an ongoing big turnoff for suburban voters, especially in Northeast, most of Midwest, and definitely the West.

Civil war does not work here. Although there are some regional variations (San Francisco, Mississippi), mostly it is all on the same block and even in same household. How does a civil war work between the living room and the bedroom?

How does a civil war work between the living room and the bedroom?

by way of maximal bloodshed.

racial war, political war.. gender war... war of every ideological variety - children will slay their own parents – and all of it will unfold simultaneously - soon

any light thats left in the world, will be extinguished... reality will become misery across the board.... misery that intensifies with time.

morality and wisdom will be replaced with truly evil black hearts... sinister desires... which will play out in the most horrific, terrifying ways.

there will be no freedom, safety or choice for most... only survival; no peace, no rest... life will consist of constant fear, anguish, and death.

For those that don't understand - 99% of the human experience for all of recorded history has been highly centralized tyranny over the population except for the 250 years the USA has been in existence and had an influence.

Technology is the perfect way for those with the access and power to return to what they think is the natural state of things. There's a reason they start in the schools and need to erase history. You'd have to be dumb or indoctrinated to kill the golden goose.

I say not anymore.. Democrats now control all parts of
government.. Trump lost.. His time has passed..
Republicans need to regroup and find a new leader..
It was epic owning.. Everything the Maga supporters said wouldn't happen ( including all the Trump nut huggers on getbig)... Happened.. There are about 5 GOP senators / congressman that have stated they won't run for relection in 2022.. seats will be up for grabs which will help the democrats if the Republicans continue to put there hope in Trump.. Will have another Georgia...

Historical context:

No president of the US has ever been removed from office (convicted) following impeachment. Three presidents have faced impeachment trials and all three have been acquitted:

Andrew Johnson for removing a Secretary of War “in violation” of a law of Congress
35 convict 19 acquit (one vote shy of conviction, less states in US then, thus less senators)

Bill Clinton for perjury 50 convict 50 acquit

Donald Trump for “incitement” 57 convict 43 acquit (second impeachment)

When I was a teenager when Clinton was being impeached, the narrative was that he was being impeached for having his dick sucked dry by some slut White House secretary.

In reality, it was for committing perjury. And while lying about having your sperm swallowed is no big deal [IMO], he still committed perjury.

He should have been impeached for that.

He was impeached, but the Senate acquitted him in the trial.  The articles were perjury and obstruction of justice.

Clinton lied about his relationship with Lewinsky, told lies to others who then publicly repeated his lies, engaged in witness tampering, and refused to testify for over six months.  Just consider what the House did a year ago about a phone call.

Imagine any network allowing Trump to get away with stalling for 6 months. The Clinton News Network was a real thing(CNN).
