They weren't enemies after 1980. Arnold even offered to help Ray financially when he was in ill health and spoke to Mike on the phone about it near the time they both died. Mike even wanted to do a reunion with Arnold on that final video tape he was working on.

Totally agree, he has a large frame and broad shoulders but not the widest among the crop.
Some say he was not wide mistaken by his sloping shoulders and deltoids being his not greatest asset.

If a bodybuilder has wide clavicles,they have to build up there chest and upper back to compensate for the width?

Or ,maybe they need extra muscle mass to fill in the wide shoulder frame (kind of like with short and tall bodybuilder - short bodybuilders need les absolute muscle mass to fill out their frame)?

Very few people notice this and make this observation. When you have very wide clavicle width you get that coat hanger look. If you've ever seen a bber with extra wide clavicles their arms look so stringy handing to the side when standing relaxed. You have all this space between your arms and torso.

True genetic freaks can fill out broad frame, Dennis Newman, Lee Haney, Nasser Elsonbaty, Ronnie Coleman are all naturally broad shouldered with no problem filling those frames.
Mike Matarazzo failed miserably with his thin back, high lats and weak pecs.
So if you can fill it, it's not a problem, but it is very rare to be very wide and thick at the same time.
Real broad shouldered guys tend to have Ectomorph tendencies along with mesomorphy.

Yes, problems with filling out but it also just looks goofy and not as aesthetically pleasing to some. Aesthetic preferences differ some though. A frame generally on the lighter side makes muscle look more impressive to me.
