Iron deficiency
« on: February 18, 2021, 04:36:13 PM »
So having had corona I believe twice I decided to give plasma. Went to the hospital. Told me I have a too low haemoglobin/ iron level. So cycling 200miles a month and weights. Seems the red meat diet counts for something.

Nothing compares to meat. What‘s with the cycling though?

Stop drinking coffee and black tee (tee in general).
Take your iron first thing in the morning.

I have no iron deficiency, i let my blood get checked 4 times a year. (no meat, no pills)
Only time i had iron deficiency was when i was drinking 10 cups black tee a day.

Whatever you do stay away from iron supplements, they have given people stomach ulcers.

Men are advised to not take iron supplementation.  Women lose iron through their period.

Eat red meat every day, nothing but red meat.  It's all you need.

That's pretty much exactly what Mike Matarazzo said.  :-\

Most men are advised to sty away from Iron.  That’s why men’s multi vitamins are iron free.

Not fava beans, and maybe a nice Chianti..?

So do some modern 'men', unfortunately...  :-\

Hopefully, those modern "men" overdose on iron thinking they need it because they feel like a woman and think they have periods.
