Interesting. I had never heard of CERN before your post. Before clicking the thread, I thought your thread was an intentional misspelling to poke fun at Canada's ridiculous CERB program.

I guess a lot of people here are basically sitting on welfare [the CERB program] while our national debt skyrockets right past the trillion dollar mark and beyond. I thought the program ended, but I think it restarted.

As for CERN, that's new to me but seems worth reading more about. I think I had heard of "The God Particle" before, even though I had not heard of CERN:

Interesting. Do some people think this ties in with multiverse theory? Some people were asking in that thread where I took that screenshot attached above.

It was in a Google Q&A page, but the link was six lines long, so I decided not to share it.

Selling the big bang BS theory to the masses. Bet this thing represents something completely different.

Love how they concealed 3 6s into their logo though. Must get my tin foil hat, walking on thin ice here

The end of the world, CERN version, lol. I've been to the Stanford accelerator (SLAC) and realized in all of 60 seconds this is just another academic/government boondoggle to allow prolonged adolescents to play all day.

The same thing is happening, and has for years, at the University of Rochester laser fusion lab. I worked there. The talk by the little bitches who don't know jack about science was one day laser fusion would be ignited and create a catastrophic explosion, lol. OK, right. The only thing that blew up was the yearly budget. Now that DOE owns it, its sucking up money even faster.

All these big science projects are merely taxpayer funded scams. The true discoveries throughout history have been made by either individuals at home or private companies just making new products.

My favorite Burt Reynolds-movie to crack one off to is "Deliverance" or "Love in the Great Outdoors"

How in the name of God could Best Little Whorehouse In Texas not take top billing on your list of Burt Reynolds jerk films?  That or Boogie Nights?  Just axin.
