That Ryan guy was his "date" at awards ceremonies. I have never known of a heterosexual guy who has a homosexual best friend and takes him as his guest to formal events.
A few years ago when the Rams drafted the gay guy from Missouri they said there were other gay players in the NFL and expected a huge star to announce his sexuality. The rumors all over were that Aaron Rogers was going to come out but it never happened.
Yep, to all of that.....I also think his sexuality might be part of why he doesn't speak to his family. I really think the NFL wanted some "stars" to come out, and got the Rams to pick Sam Shields as the final pick of the draft just to hopefully gain "Alphabet" fans. Imagine the Seelers and Ravens playing in their festive rainbow uniforms that are bedazzled on SNF during pride month? Every gay person would have to buy at least a few jerseys to color coordinate.
Fuck, most guys buy one jersey, and they are set until they get to fat for it. I still have a Clay Matthews jersey from when they won the super bowl 10+ years ago, and he's been retired for at least 5 years now. I have a Rodgers on too as I got them at the same time. My aunt worked for JC Penny as a manager, and she called me asking if I wanted anything, as the buyer severely overestimated demand. She told me they were doing a storewide 50% off everything in the store, and the Packer stuff was already marked 50% off, plus I got her employee discount, and a discount for using their card. I got 2 SB jerseys, 2 embroidered hoodies, 5 SB t's, and 2 plain Packer T's.....total cost was a little over $23 if I remember right. And people wonder why JC Penny had to file and reorganize LOL
