Maybe a subtle reference to child and youth stars being addicted to opiates. Corey Feldman claimed to have been addicted to drugs [I think opiates, and possibly more] between 1987 to 1989, I think.
I think he's been giving some acting roles lately to prevent him from exposing the names of the casting couch moguls who he said raped children. Whatever happened to him, he seems to have gone through somect trauma.
