It may surprise you that I am totally sick of it and I don't even live in Portland. I have not gone shopping in downtown Portland for quite awhile. Even though the damage caused by the rioters is confined to certain areas, all of downtown is affected by it. Unless something is done to end this. Portland will become a ghost town.

Portland's Mayor is a wimp. Oregon's Governor is a disappointment with regards to these riots...as best as I can tell, she's been silent on the most recent riots.
Yesterday morning, a white man was pointing a gun and making commotion in Lents Park, which located in South East Portland in a suburban area. One of the policeman, Officer DeLong, an 8 year veteran of the Portland Police shot and killed the guy....I'm guessing with good reason. Almost immediately, a crowd gathered and folks were yelling at the police....like they did anything wrong by protecting the community.

Last night, more riots in downtown Portland.

Since July 1, 115 officers have left the Police Bureau, including 74 who retired and 41 who resigned. Wonder why?

Lents Park is a place for family activities.

Sure....okay. It is just whenever something shitty like this happens in Portland, certain Getbiggers pile on, like I was out there rioting or cheer leading the rioters. As best as I know Straw does not live in or near Portland and probably doesn't think much about what goes on there.

An article in today's Oregonian details the havoc and destruction the Friday night rioters caused in downtown Portland. Only four of these animals were arrested. Activists Rioters seeking to abolish police caused damage to several buildings in downtown Portland on Friday night, including a church, the Oregon Historical Society, John Helmer's Haberdashery (were I frequently shop for hats) and a bank.
