1:35 the fun begins.
Great video and amazing work by that cop.
Most of these tragic shootings involve resisting arrest , running away, etc.
I was riding my motorcycle with a gf on the back , right after I got out of the USMC.
Out of nowhere, 2 cop cars pulled me over and told us to get off and lay on the ground. We did.
I calmly produced my license and she did the same . This was at night, so we had to get up slowly with flashlights on us.
We fully obeyed their commands and NOTHING bad happened.
Suddenly they got a new radio call, thanked us for our cooperation and sped away.
A 3rd cop had just pulled up and informed me , we were a case of mistaken identity.
He quickly told me a 20 something male had just robbed a Quicky mart and fled with his gf on a motorcycle.

Based on that experience, I'm quite sure, you're 99.9% better off to obey the cops and not resist.
I'd bet most of the shootings and violent police interactions would end, IF people didn't resist arrest.
Even with the recent Chauvin/ Floyd death, I wonder if it would have ended differently, if Floyd calmly got in the back of the car .
Granted, one he was out again and on the ground, Chauvin had no business kneeling on his neck that long.
BUT, that extreme action by cops seems rare.
