High school? You told us you were an associate professor at a university. I distinctly remember Dr Chimps calling bullshit.

That latter years of my career were teaching physics classes at a small college.
Prior to that I spent many years teaching HS chemistry, physics, math and coaching ( football, soccer, track)
I always said that. I'm now retired .

My dad joined the US Navy at 17 and was allowed to graduate HS  a few months early to fight in WWII .
He was a gunners mate that saw action in the Pacific in the summer of 1945.
He put himself thru night school on the GI bill  to become a structural engineer .

We lived in a basement apt until my dad got promoted and he bought our "Leave it to Beaver" home ( I was 6).

My sis became a medical doc and I got 2 graduate degrees with an academic career in physics.
We never got a college fund from our parents  and my financial aid came from my 4 yrs in the USMC.

I've endured plenty of personal hardships, stayed strong and kept doing the right thing .
I've been divorced twice and it was emotionally painful  to say the least.
BUT, I kept my head, didn't do anything crazy or resort to doing drugs or drinking booze.

LOL, I even competed drug free in NON tested npc contests in the 1990's and never complained.

Back in Nov of 2006, I first met my current wife and we married in 2012.
I rebuilt my personal life once again and came out with my proverbial soul mate at my side

 ESPN  highlights the extreme feats and outrageous acts that make the daily sports highlights .

Meanwhile, the vast majority of us,  go about our daily biz, doing our jobs , obeying the law and getting the vaccine.

I suspect he saw a post of me talking about my current position and felt it conflicted with my older posts?
That's understandable with all the anonymous and BS posts on a forum like getbig.

My parents raised me to never feel I was "too good" to do any job or talk to someone.
My sis went back to med school after spending a few years , working as a med tech in a hospital blood bank.
It made her a better doc as she knew/respected all levels of the healthcare system.

I did a similar thing in the field of science education by teaching at both the HS and small college level.
