The problem is, no matter how big a fool she makes of herself, she lives in a district populated by retards (mostly minorities of course) so she'll continue to be re-elected.
This.She blatantly lies and is called out on it but she does a great job of building a rapport with her community. It appears she thinks she is actually doing something to help people, which, if true, is commendable. She doesn't come across as a self completely self serving politician and in todays culture that is enough to make her stand out.
