The good old days in gyms, people working hard, no phones, no gen-pop, no selfies, no purple/yellow, very few gym idiots, etc.
Gyms today are pretty embarrassing places, unless you find the rare/good hardcore gym. Not many left today.

Good new Padilla (2-part) interview with John Hansen on his YT and audio podcast.

Thx Funk.

How dare you post something negative about the man who invented weight training, all of it's principles, the wheel, fire, sex and damn near everything else in existence!

Not sure what you mean by “crafted.”  Legend has it that Betty (Mrs. Joe) Weider stumbled across the Sandow statue in an antique shop and brought it home.   Joe then became inspired to use it as the Olympia trophy.

That was Shuster Foundry mold , Olympia statue is much smaller than the British original .

Sandow was giving away his statue to many physical culture clubs around Europe before the WW1.

NABBA presented Sandow's to Reeves, Coe & other U. winners ..........

WABBA awarded gold plated 1 to Steve Reeves ......

Silver version exist too...........
