If we really wanted to put drug cartels out of business and stop the violence and remove the profits that fill their coffers we would legalize and regulate all drugs. This would also save lives as most overdoses are accidental due to unknown strength of product. Imagine if every time you drank a beer you didn't know if it was 3ABV or 80 proof? Could be natty light could be moonshine. That is what its like for an illegal drug user that is why they overdose and die. If we really wanted to save lives we would end the war on drugs.
This fetid line of "reasoning" is stupid. Taking it further, why not make wife beating legal or at the least, husband beating? Why not make everything legal. No more jails and no need for the police, judges, courtrooms, etc.? All the money saved could be better used by taking "care" of real problems like "racism", "social injustice", the extermination of the white race and conservatism. Personally, I think a LOT of smart missiles fired all at once at Cartels around the world and continued until they are all dead is a better deal. Declare these creatures to be off the Endangered Feces List and make it open season on them and the problem is solved. But what about the poor addicts? They can either get straight or die.
