First, Africa is a continent, not a country. Second, uh no. I traveled through South Africa, Namibia, Zambia and Botswana in 2009. There were regions with absolutely zero "modern conveniences". I am planning to go to Nigeria early next year and the guy I'm doing business with told me that many areas are practically Stone Age.


I saw similar things in China. Bejing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, etc were reasonably modern. Smaller cities like Yutian were so backwards I was shocked,

I and another officer were fired by Greenville County Council for an argument we had in intake.  It was over an objection to a cell extraction but more about being gay likely.  We didnt throw any punches but it was in the mist of budget cuts.  I was offered my job back 6 months later but I told them to go fuck themselves
