Must not have invested his money wisely so has to risk brain damage.

I think he owns a grocery store in Poland. He turned 44 earlier this year.

He won the fight

https://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Mariusz-Pudzianowski-Punches-Out-Lukasz-Jurkowski-in-KSW-61-Headliner-179749

I think he even beat a Gracie in a fight - Rolles Gracie Jr., I think.

What I've learned from Mariusz is that no matter how amazing you are at one sport, you can't be that level in more than one sport.

Or more than one specialty, period - no matter how skilled you are. For example, you could get two Ph.D degrees, but you're not going to be at a level as high in either of them then you would be at just one of them if you just got one.

Another example would be triathletes; they may be excellent runners, cyclists, and swimmers, but the best of each sport will beat them.

Same with mixed martial arts - as Conor McGregor proved, you can be an excellent MMA boxer, but still not beat a pure boxer in boxing. Likewise, a pro boxer could be out-boxed by an MMA fighter, because MMA boxing isn't the same, with the lighter gloves. Also, a boxer can be exhausted in an MMA fight as other techniques are used against him. Likewise...Georges St-Pierre out-wrestled better wrestlers, like Josh Koscheck, because he would go for the takedown while Koscheck threw a punch - something that would not happen in a wrestling match.

So yeah...that's what I've learned. I've also learned that while strength matters in a fight, it doesn't matter as much as skill. That being said, I'm sure that Mariusz could destroy many average or untrained men - or even many big strong men who are not trained fighters.

I don't know why he's still fighting at 44 though...that seems somewhat dangerous. My friend told me that Mirko Cro Cop had a minor stroke after his fight with Roy Nelson a few years back. So fighters, like bodybuilders, strongmen, and wrestlers, should know when to throw in the towel, career-wise.

I reckon off drugs he'd still do some damage albeit not just as much damage

He only fights in KSW, known for the lack of testing.
