yup, it's bob peoples first guy to hold the official dead lift record from 1949-1965. peoples did an official 725 lbs at 180 lbs bodyweight.  in 1965 terry todd weighing over 100 lbs more broke it.

Awesome thanks for posting this.In 1980 I ran into Terry Todd and got to spend about an hour whipping his ass with questions about powerlifting history.

I remember learning about him and how he deadlifted with a rounded back.

Guy did a lot for the sport.
