This is the exact reason people need to really evaluate if the covid vaccine is worth the risk. Immediately after receiving the vaccine, there have been numerous reports of death, paralysis, and other severe reactions and they are all left with a "there is no link to this and the vaccine" since there is such little data out there.

Sure, people were infected, but how many died? How many needed medical treatment and hospitalization?

You know, booty, I’m in total agreement. With every attempt made to “calm the fears” with regard to the drug, it only serves to strengthen my decision to NEVER allow it into my body, ever.

I’ve been at work every day for these 16 past months. What I do has me in a very precarious position where viruses are concerned. I still don’t know one person who has died. Heck, I only know of a few who were even sick, and these recovered quickly, saying it was essentially like a short-lived flu.

I don’t wear a mask, and I have continued to shake hands, hug friends and, when “allowed”, lift in my gym.

Not one thought to “social distancing”.

I choose to live my life, and when the Reaper comes calling, I’ll go along with him, no complaints.

Life is meant to be lived. No fear.

Yes I think this fear propaganda is having the opposite effect. Everyone who gets Covid here never gets seriously ill and quite a few wouldn’t even know they have it. I am confident in that I take care of myself, eat well, never smoked, rarely drink alcohol, exercise and I take vitamin D and K2 along with omega 3 and magnesium. My immune system is going to have to be enough and if it’s not well I don’t want to waste the time I have left stressing about Covid. It’s never going away. We have to live with it. Because you haven’t isolated yourself, you’re probably healthier than the ones that have because your immune system has been exposed to things. I don’t think all this sanitising is good for us long term.

Very nice of you considering how much "shit" I've given you.  Pun intended.  In the case of my friend, not only was he unvaccinated, he was an anti masker, anti distancer, it's a hoax, etc. etc.  I have to be more understanding of those who don't get vaccinated but follow the rest of the safety recommendations/rules.  This new delta variant seems to be hitting younger, healthier folks harder than the earlier variants.

I'm old (47) but far from fat.  Also, I never said the vaccine made me feel better.  In fact, I doubt anyone has ever said they feel better after getting this vaccine or any other.  I feel better knowing that if I am exposed to covid, any variant that my odds of catching it are incredibly low and odds of dying from it even lower.  My otherwise healthy 17 year old son has an asthma condition.  When he gets any sort of illness it always seems to come along with bad congestion, cough, etc.  He's both young and strong and also very vulnerable to severe illness if he were ever to catch covid.  My entire household is vaccinated.  That's me, my wife, teenage son and teenage daughter.  We allowed them to make their own choice and in my not so humble view, they made the correct one.  Even if my kids chose not too, my wife and I still would have.  If for no other reason to protect our son.  Let me guess.  We are virtue signaling within our own household, right?  Now go get your fucking shine box!

I don’t see how it’s possible to know what symptoms you would’ve had had you not been vaccinated. Frankly, it’s best to just assume everything you hear about this is bullshit. You’ll be right 99% of the time.
