Deadlift strength
« on: July 02, 2021, 06:00:24 PM »
So I’m training chest and forearms tonight and I have 110 lbs on the barbell on the floor for supersetting with bench press and my 10 year old daughter comes down the basement and grabs the 110 and picks it up pretty easily and she weighs 55 lbs. so she just did a double weight deadlift. I was pretty impressed just curious if that is impressive by other people’s standards?

Might have a prodigy on your hands.  I'd send her to Chad Nichols and with his D-bol regimen she'll be quadrupling her bodyweight before she's 13.   ;D

Seriously, that seems like a strong little kid.

That is very, very strong. It's tough to figure because they really have classes that light in professional kids powerlifting, but she's stronger than a lot of girls much heavier than her -

It's a bit of a pain, you can scan through that chart.

Some kids can be crazy strong at a young age.

I remember in junior high my friend squatted 225 and weighed like 110.

It didn't even look hard for him.

As we got older things changed, but i do remember him doing it rather easily.
