Wouldn’t it make sense that it prob has? Being that they have a quota to fill so they let less qualified people in and some more qualified don’t get in if accepting only a certain amount of people? I have no clue just seems that a lot of qualified people would lose out to less qualified people due to affirmative action.

Just a for instance a lady I know who was pretty high up working for tjx was told she had to hire a black person for a certain job under her and was told doesn’t matter the qualifications cause they have to have a certain amount of black people working there.She said she had some extremely qualified white people for the job but had to hire an unqualified black lady and she said she was the worst employee ever and had no clue what she was doing.So some qualified people missed out cause of affirmative action.

Not sure if schools and working is the same but if it is it makes sense that it would have stoped some more qualified people from going to college? Again I don’t know fuck all about this just having conversation as to how I see it.

I would say that it can be discriminatory to white men.  I can't lose sight of the fact that it does exist for a reason.  Had people that looked like you and I (white) done the right thing by POC affirmative action wouldn't have been necessary.  To me going back to those days is not a better idea.
