I didn't say or implied that anything was wrong with free weights. I'm pointing out the fact that Arnold at 19 years old had far fewer options at his disposal than we do today yet far exceeded this kid who is being featured on youtube like he's something special. It's to show that having specialized machines costing thousands of dollars, countless supplements, and all the PEDS only an online click away isn't going to match hard work, good basic food (whole chickens), and the right genetics.
