I just saw that on my news tickler 20 minutes ago.

That's awful. But, it's a rarity for rapper to die via old age or health issues, instead of being riddled with bullets in their mid-20s or 30s.

This is true. It seemed the entire bullet culture didn't really pop off until Tupac and Biggie started beefing. Still some pioneers around though. Kurtis Blow, Doug E Fresh, EPMD, KRS-One, Kool Moe Dee, are still around.... Prince Markie Dee made it until Feb of this year (surprisingly).
