I am in a different state right now. Josh is not allowed in the US and threatened my sons life. If I see him I will consider that an attempt to exercise that threat and he will not be able to threaten anyone again.

Joint " legal " custody is essentially useless it means you have a say in the child's upbringing and you can take them to the doctors. This is inferior to joint or sole legal physical custody. And how " very hard " did you fight? You or your attorney petitioned the court they agreed.
