The NFL is a lot more mainstream then MMA. The NFL is getting tough on getting players vaccinated.

I don't follow much MMA or UFC , but I suspect a higher % of fans are anti-vax? I dunno?

However, the Pentagon just required covid vaccines for the military .
Federal workers  now need  a covid vaccine and it's even required for Facebook staff in the bldg.

The FDA is about to give final use approval for the mRNA ( Pfizer and Moderna) vaccines.
That should occur by Sept and vaccine requirements for work , travel and store entry will increase.

A year from now, having a vaccine will be normal and the covid pandemic should be behind us all.
With the exception of a small % of zealots, "life" will move on for most people.

It’s a Michigan Hospital.

And if someone is basing  medical advice from a celebrity hospital endorsement they have bigger issues than deciding on vaccine safety.

What do you think about the idea of volunteers going door to door on the unvaccinated?
I feel like it might encourage people who are just scared of needles or not wanting the inconvenience. In other words, the slightly vaccine hesitant.

It’ll never work someone pulling a syringe out of a igloo cooler for free at your front door. Hmmmmm

Put this in context. Somewhere out there they have capsules you can digest vs. the shots but you need an extensive physical. They just give you the shot and cross their fingers.  RIP Marvin Hagler!

At this point they are putting people's livelihoods on the line, so you need to give a better solution than disappointed.

Traditional viral mutations occur in the consensus while the spikes and capsid stay constant.  Delta, Lambda, Puddy, Tubby and all the other offspring are fighting the fucboi vaccines with spike mutations, which means each generation finds a unique attachment point, and some in the near future may be able to use other receptor sites.  This is what happens when you cook bullshit up in a lab vs. letting Mother Natural take control.  Your normal life will be a yearly booster.  And they will probably prepare one for your 4 yr grandchild who doesn't even have fully developed receptors to attach to, just bullshit floating around in them until it dies. Figure that one out.

Public health requirements are nothing new.

The easiest way to end the pandemic is get a vaccine.

Without a vaccine, the survival rate is over 99%

Do you still believe these vaccines are of any value, whatsoever?

1) The 1976 swine flu vaccine was pulled after 50 million getting vaccinated when 50 people died and 500 got Gillian Barre Syndrome (an auto immune condition). According to the VAERS database, 13,000 have died and well over a quarter of a million permanently disabled by the covid-19 vaccines with 150 million vaccinated. This makes the covid-19 vaccines roughly ONE  HUNDRED times more lethal than the 1976 shots.

2) Unlike 1976, vaccine manufacturers are immune to all legal liability for these shots. Not even the "vaccine court", which is a notorious "kangaroo" court, will cover you for adverse reactions because of a law passed in 2005. You take the vaccine and are injured, you have NO legal recourse whatsoever.

3) All medical interventions involve risk. Even the use of aspirin involves risk (even if quite small). This is why the decision to undergo any medical intervention is done only after doing a personal risk/benefit calculation. The personal risk/benefit calculation is the basis of the doctrine of informed consent. Coercion or pressure in any form whatsoever is really an attempt to force people to circumvent their personal risk/benefit calculation and is, thus, a violation of informed consent.

That these vaccines have yet to be pulled makes clear the utter corruption and criminality of the entire medical establishment.

If you think its acceptable to pressure people to take these vaccines, then you are a bad person and a part of the problem.

You guys can argue this any way you want.

My wife and I were  vaccinated by April . It was the most practical way to stay safe against Covid.

A yr from now, the Covid vaccine will become another required vaccine ( like polio, small pox, etc).
Having it will be common and we'll have put the Covid pandemic behind us.

Most posting against it on here, will have long moved on to other topics.

It offers you no protection from getting infected and no gurantees you wont pass it on, it "may" reduce your symptoms.

My chance of being seriously l from covid is a lot less likely with a vaccine.
Plus, unless you had serious comorbidities ( recovering from cancer) , I won't die from covid.

Howard I'm with you,  once the FDA Emergency use is removed the vaccine will be mandatory, hopefully the shots wont be every 6 months, and we don't have to fear dying from covid.

The problem with the anti-vaxers is that they're not smart enough to see the big picture. Without the vaccine the medical system would get totally overwhelmed. People with treatable conditions are turned away, surgeries would get cancelled etc...

The "99% survival rate" is a myth.

You know I like and respect you.
But , my primary care doc is a Morehouse* Med school grad - MD internist and strongly advised me to get a vax.

I spent my career teaching basic chemistry and physics, but my Doc knows 100x more about disease.

GThang, ask your doc and consider heeding their advice.  They know more then us , my friend
