I’m talking about America Howard.
Just because some potheads voted to make weed legal doesn’t mean the whole country wants these dangerous drugs available.
Same with alcohol.
How many deaths by drunk driving are needed before we eliminate the problem? We have the option of eliminating booze, where all law abiding citizens suffer, or we make it virtually impossible for drunks to drive. Driving a car isn’t a right. It’s a privilege.
We use seat belts and airbags for safety, breathalyzers are the next “safety” step to irradicate this problem.
I don't smoke pot, drink booze or do any rec drugs. So, we're on the same side in terms of personal behavior.
BUT, I don't think we should impose harsh rules on others , for things we don't like or enjoy doing.
Plus, congress had to move "heaven and earth" to make seat belts mandatory in cars.
You'd have better luck making Blow job robots mandatory then breathalyzers in cars.
The cost $$$ ALONE to auto makers to install every car with a breathalyzer , make it a nonstarter.
