In all modesty, I have a lot of useful experience from decades  competing and judging, etc
No offense , but I know you won't really listen to me or anyone else unless it fits into YOUR existing view.

You went ahead and decided to compete this weekend against my advice.
Ok, fine , but if won't take my advice on when to compete I'd waste OUR time giving any more "help".

To me, it would be wiser to spend quality time with his gf instead.

I am starting a contract job in 2 weeks that requires Saturday work for the next 2 years. This is the only show I can do

I am crashing my estrogen levels now I have a suana I can use

I posted that I didn't know his financial situation.
Obviously, he's got enough $$ to piss a few hundred away on this "adventure".
He might do ok, in the ctual contest. He's gonna have a tough time winning a sword.
 I think he's gonna feel butt hurt by the getbig post contest feedback.

Being the Excalibur , he'll like be up against a couple freaks in the open hvy.
It's likely he may have a super ripped smaller guys beat him in the novice and masters.

I'd advised him to take his gf out for a nice weekend, instead of this show.
But, he seemed very determined to do THIS rush job  contest. Not sure why?

All your advice was right on. But if he is as well off as he claims to be, calculating how much this will cost him in dollars isn't going to convince him it is a stupid endeavor. I wish Bhanks the best, but I suspect if he actually goes through with this nonsense, his enormous ego will be shattered. No big deal. He is like a bouncing ball. Somehow it will all be like nothing ever happened and he'll be on to the next fantasy.
