You have a point. I started my military career in early 2000s under Bush and ended in the 2010s under Obama. Morale has been declining a lot, largely due to the spinning in circles about Iraq.

Early/mid 2000s, it was up there. But the longer OEF/OIF dragged along, the good feelings went south.
