Libs and their media backside buddies have been bashing Ivermectin for MONTHS, including that imbecile Ana Navarro (who can't tell the difference between vaccines to prevent coronavirus and medicines to treat people once they get coronavirus and get sick).

So, Ivermectin is the second coming of arsenic for American citizens with coronavirus; but it's perfectly fine for Afghan refugees, per the CDC?

This is the same group that said nearly a year and a half ago that masks were worthless to stop the spread of this bug.

The information on the CDC linked page is incredibly more comprehensive.

Invermectin is recommended for parasites. This has nothing to do with recommending it for COVID-19, which they are not doing.

Would you prefer immigrants and refugees from countries known to have issues with parasites such as Bot Flies not be treated before entering the U.S. Look up Bot Flies in humans.

I trust the CDC, doctors and virologist more than I trust the random non-expertise opinions of folks on the internet and who sometimes have a personal agenda.

Not sure what your question has to do with this anyway. You posted an article with information that misleads people into thinking the CDC is being hypocritical, when in fact, they are recommending ivermectin for humans for what it was intended, which is to treat parasites. Ivermectin is a medication used for treating certain types of skin lesions and parasitic infections. People who need an ivermectin prescription can connect with a licensed medical provider who can prescribe ivermectin for humans. Medications intended for veterinary purposes can be easier to obtain without a prescription. The products meant for animals have different ingredients and have a larger concentration of the active ingredient that could be dangerous to a human.

The hypocrisy isn't from the CDC, per se. It's from the media and political pundits, PRETENDING that humans haven't used this drug until now.

Unfortunately, some people are going to take shortcuts and get the veterinarian version of Ivermectin, much like bodybuilders getting veterinarian grades of steroids, as MuscleMag's "Uncensored" column used to mention. They're not as sanitary and can cause infections and other side effects.
