Cook,my legs have always sucked and trust me I trained the shit out of them.
Training upper body at home is great but I cannot afford to waste a minutes time neglecting legs....I mean I was training them at home as hard as possible, but I was too limited so yes,it`worth it bigtime.
The 100 mile trip pales by comparison to some of the sacrifices I have made over the decades for this sport....you gotta` want it or you get left behind, and that`s something I never entertain.
Every day I meditate picturing how I want to look at my contest,picturing myself winning,repeating a mantra on positive affirmation........Zane has nothing on me.....a lot of it is visualization,believing in yourself,and positive affirmation........I have no one here up in the sticks as a team except for me and you guys on getbig,so in essence I tell myself repeatedly that I have already won.........the mind is the most powerful muscle....you know this as you have competed in powerlifting yourself.
