Henda, I am not a heart specialist like 99.9% of getbig, however, I assume that my dad is an anomaly. I would assume most people with 9% EF have symptoms.
With that said, I wouldn't automatically assume that because you have no symptoms or that you feel well, that you're totally okay. Don't wait that long for a second opinion.
Agreed. Is not something to mess around w/ or take lightly. Many dont have any symptoms, then die suddenly.
Get an appt as soon as you can, get a nuclear stress test (and all the cardiac tests done).
My buddy never had a symptom. He was walking thru Loews, started to feel very tired/sick. Thought about going home to sleep it off.
If he did, he wouldnt have woken. Wife convinced to go to hospital. Rushed him in for bypass (widow-maker). Again, no symptoms felt great right up until that point...
He rehabbed for a year and just did (in AUG, and won) a deadlift contest at age 68, he's doing great now...
